Meet the Cleburne Team Behind Ironworks Gate Co.

A gate company is only as good as the person who shows up with the tools. Around Cleburne, Johnson County, and the neighborhoods between here and Fort Worth, that means our crew: four technicians and coordinators who’ve hung gates, chased wiring faults, and straightened sagging frames long enough to know when something’s off by the sound it makes. Victor Salinas, Owner, has spent 42 years building this company around a simple idea: hire people who’d do the work on their own mother’s driveway. These are the folks on the truck when you call (817) 961-9404.

Our People

Marcus T. - Lead Technician

Marcus has been with Ironworks Gate Co. for 16 years, and he’s the one we send when a gate has stumped somebody else. He’s certified on LiftMaster, FAAC, DoorKing, and Elite automation systems, and he’s rebuilt enough Viking and Linear operators to diagnose most failures from the driveway before the truck door closes. Marcus grew up north of Cleburne and still complains about the clay soil out toward Sand Flat, mostly because gate posts set in it behave differently after a wet spring. When he’s not under a control board, he’s at the Cleburne Sports Complex pretending his coaching whistle works better than it does.

Danny R. - Senior Installer

Danny started welding with his uncle at 19 and joined the company 12 years ago. He handles most of our full gate installations across Cleburne: ornamental steel, ranch entrances off Farm-to-Market roads, and the occasional automated estate gate where the driveway is longer than some city blocks. He’s Ghost Controls and BFT certified, which matters when you’re installing a solar-powered opener three miles past the last streetlight. Danny owns a small herd of cattle and has yet to miss a job for it, though not for lack of the cattle trying. His welds are cleaner than his truck, and we leave it at that.

Elena M. - Service Coordinator

Elena is the voice on the phone at 2 a.m. when your gate motor has seized and your truck is stuck inside the property. She’s been with Ironworks for eight years and runs our dispatch with a level of calm that makes you believe the repair is already half handled. She knows the service territory block by block: Godley, Joshua, Rio Vista, Keene, Grandview, and the county roads in between. Elena keeps the schedule honest, which means the arrival window we give you is the arrival window we keep. She’s also the reason our technicians carry backup fuses, because she asks better questions than most technicians.

Tommy S. - Apprentice Technician

Tommy joined us two years ago after finishing his welding program at Hill College, and he’s the one running cable, setting post brackets, and learning the fine art of adjusting a Mighty Mule opener that’s been out of adjustment since the last presidential administration. He rides with Marcus on most calls and has already earned a reputation for finding the bolt somebody dropped in the grass. Tommy hunts in Bosque County, ties his own flies, and has, on one memorable occasion, used a piece of his fly-tying wire to temporarily fix a gate sensor. It held until the part arrived. We were proud, but we didn’t tell him that.

One Standard, Every Job

Every technician who works under the Ironworks Gate Co. name follows the same standard here in Cleburne that we apply across Johnson County and beyond: quote the price before a single bolt turns, show up when we say, and stand behind the work in writing. That’s the 90-Day Done Right Promise, our Keystone Standard. If something isn’t right, Marcus or Danny comes back and makes it right. No paperwork. No arguing. The 400th job gets the same care as the first, because Victor built this company to be around for another 40 years, and your gate is the thing people on your street notice first. Uniformed, background-checked, and trained on nine major automation brands: LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule. We answer the phone live, any hour, and we’re honest about what needs fixing and what doesn’t. That’s not a policy. That’s just how these four people and the owner choose to work.
